Updates for SmoothWall Express to correct Linux kernel local security vulnerabilities.

Notes

fixes2 makes the following changes from SmoothWall Express 2.0 as released:

Linux kernel updated to 2.4.25 cf. SWP-2004:002

Please reboot after installation.

Dependencies

This patch only applies to SmoothWall Express 2.0-final with fixes1 installed — do not apply this patch to any other version of SmoothWall, including any previous beta releases.

Installation

Download the fixes2 patch file. Go to Maintenance -> Updates on your SmoothWall web interface, and upload the file. It will be verified and applied automatically. Once the patch has been applied, please reboot your SmoothWall.

To reboot your SmoothWall, go to Shutdown in the web interface, and press the Reboot button. Your SmoothWall will now disconnect, and reboot.
